Hi everyone ,i was away vacationing to various places so i cud not write earlier.I had gone to South America------ Peru,San Salvador n Equador.I was with a group of people from Chicago ,Illinoisen California.We ,a group of ten single females,was from California.I am going to start rite now with all the details:- We all reached LAX i.e Los Angels International Airport in the middle of the night ,at abt.3-30 am.But after reaching at the airport we came to know that the Flight had alredy been delayed by 6 I mean SIX hours. It was aweful to know that we have to wait for 8-9 hours to take a flight toSan Salvador.You can imagine the anguish on our faces.It was aweful.There was no way that we could change our plans at that time so imagine we all were in depressed mood and complaining to each other about the mismanagement of the AIRPORT. Any way after about 5Hrs or so we all went to Starbucks to freshen ourselves with hot tea n coffee.Let me first introduce you to my Group ------ Veena Menda ,Padm ,Roma,Mona,Frenni,Sue Malik ,Suman Agarwal,Rishi Agarwal ,Shobhna & myself ,Asha Marwaha.We all really enjoyed the chit-chat and new friendship.but after all this commotion we all got a Big surprise .... each one of us got 200$ each from TACA Airways as compensation for the inconvenience and delay----------- so planning of another trip.
Any way we all were tired so when we boarded the much awaited FLIGHT, we all comforted ourselves into good sleep n reached San Salvador at abt.5:30 in the evening i.e 12th of August 2007 Aug.El Salvador is is a very small country and San Salvador looks like a big town.We found San Salvador a very small hilly place,very green and poor.Poverty was peeping from every corner.Small dingy shanty poor huts like small buildings.But the hotel where we stayed was very moderen with all the fetures of moderen hotel.They gave us very warm welcome,nice and comfortable rooms,We had very delicious buffet dinner.We all sat in a covered patio overlooking swimming poolwe cracked lot of jokes ,enjoyed a lot very few people could decipher the language we were conversing in...... English,Hindi n Panjabi...... .We were happy with each other and really enjoyed ,taking lot of pictures with new poses .We all retired to bed with very warm feeling and a vision of hilaroius time in coming times to LIMA.
